Problem

In today’s competitive business landscape, effective human resource management is crucial for sustaining company growth and ensuring operational stability. However, one of the most pressing challenges faced by organizations is understanding the underlying patterns of employee retention and attrition. Without clear insights, businesses risk increased turnover costs, reduced productivity, and weakened organizational performance.

To address this issue, we propose the development of a comprehensive dashboard that consolidates employee data and focuses on analyzing retention and attrition trends. This tool will enable organizations to identify key factors influencing employee behavior, support data-driven decision-making, and ultimately enhance workforce management strategies.

Goal

The Overview section provides a high-level summary of key HR metrics to monitor workforce status and highlight areas that require attention. It presents the total number of employees, including those who have left the organization, along with the attrition percentage. It also breaks down retention and attrition by department to show which areas have the highest and lowest turnover, as well as by job role to provide visibility into specific positions with notable patterns. The Demographics section focuses on understanding the composition of the workforce to support the development of inclusive and targeted employee policies. It visualizes gender distribution among current employees, analyzes attrition and retention across different age groups, and highlights the relationship between education levels and employee turnover. These insights help reveal whether certain demographics are more likely to leave or stay. The Income section emphasizes compensation trends and their connection to employee profiles. It examines average income by education and gender to uncover potential disparities that may influence retention, while also visualizing the correlation between monthly income, age, and job roles. This allows organizations to evaluate whether compensation policies are aligned with employee expectations, motivation, and responsibilities.
